A held journey from “I hope it will be ok” to “I know I was not alone.”
Full Birth & Early Postnatal Support
This package is for you if you do not just want someone to show up on the day of birth. You want a steady, calm presence through the whole arc of this season. Someone who understands your hopes, your history, and your nervous system, and walks it with you.
This package includes:
Antenatal support that goes deeper than information
Three antenatal sessions (in person locally or online) where we:
- Explore your hopes, fears and previous experiences
- Talk through how your body gives birth and what supports physiological birth
- Look at your options within the system so you can make decisions that feel informed and grounded
- Spend one session on the parental brain and bonding, so you understand what is happening in your brain and nervous system and how to support connection with your baby from the start
Birth partner session
A dedicated session for your partner so they:
- Understand what labour may look and sound like from the outside
- Know how to support you practically and emotionally
- Have simple language to use with staff when they need to slow things down, ask questions or hold a boundary
Post-appointment calls
1 hour “last-minute” calls with me, online. These can be used:
- after your appointments with your midwife, consultant or GP to debrief what was said, make sense of your options and help you feel grounded again
- before an appointment to prepare questions, rehearse what you want to say or clarify your preferences
- to talk through comments or stories that have left you feeling unsettled, or simply to steady yourself when things feel overwhelming

Here's where my support make all the difference
Beyond an Antenatal Class
Antenatal classes can be a useful starting point, but no class can anticipate the unique mix of feelings and decisions that unfold week by week.
Guidance arrives when you actually need it, in the thick of real life. Every conversation is centred on your baby, your body, and your values, so you feel clear and grounded rather than overwhelmed. The support carries into postpartum, so you are never left on your own when things get tender and messy. With me, you are not just learning about birth, you are supported through it in a way that honours your voice.
Anna, one of my clients, described it this way:
Anna H
Continuity of support, from booking to six weeks postpartum.

Antenatal Sessions with Me, Your Birth Doula in Rugby, Warwickshire
These sessions aren’t about ticking boxes.
They’re about tuning in, slowing down, and getting honest about what birth brings up so you can meet it feeling clear, grounded, and deeply yourself.
The Journey of Birth
We'll explore how labour unfolds, not just the physical shifts, but the deep hormonal choreography behind it all. We’ll unravel the stories you’ve absorbed about birth and begin to rewrite the ones that don’t serve you.
Emotions & the Parental Brain
Fear can shape birth. So can love, safety, and presence. I’ll guide you through the latest neuroscience on how your brain transforms in pregnancy so you can begin trusting yourself before your baby even arrives.
Your Moving, Birthing Body
Let’s talk biomechanics but in a way that makes sense in your body. We’ll look at foetal positioning, pelvic movement, and how to tune into sensations so you know what’s normal and what needs support.
Exploring Birth Pathways
There is no one right way to give birth. Together we’ll unpack induction, C-sections, assisted births, and pain relief so you’re not just “informed” but clear on what aligns with you.
Third Stage + Feeding Choices
From delayed cord clamping to breastfeeding or formula. We’ll walk through what to expect so you can soften into the unknown with confidence.
Your Rights & Voice
You have options. You have a say. We'll get clear on what informed choice actually means, how to advocate for yourself, and how to create a birth plan that honours your voice, not just the system’s.
